Hands Across the Water was set up by Peter Baines to provide for children he met in the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami when he was working as a police and forensic officer. Today the charity runs 7 homes and refuges and cares for more than 350 children throughout Thailand.
Proximity is supporting Tara in her endeavours and hosting the fundraising leadership breakfast. Peter will be presenting and will talk about his unique path to leadership, provide insights into leadership and offer relevant learnings to people like us working in government. We are really looking forward to understanding how to step up and become a leader especially when facing change, growth or challenges at work. Tara, Lyn and Valerie will also talk about their ride and how your money assists these children.
It would be great to have a large Proximity presence at the breakfast to support Tara. If you want more information about the event please call Tara on 0411 518 998.
