Irene is an experienced Australian Government lawyer with extensive experience in both government and private practice.
Irene has advised Commonwealth agencies across a broad range of high value and significant projects and transactions.
Having undertaken over nine legal secondments to various government agencies with Proximity, Irene is a secondment specialist and works extremely well in diverse team environments.
Irene is adaptable and her easy-going nature enables her to build trust and confidence with her clients.
Irene’s key areas of practise are commercial law, contracting, procurement and probity.
Irene has extensive experience advising clients on all stages of the procurement life cycle, from the early planning phase to contract execution.
Irene has assisted many clients with preparing approach to market documentation, evaluation processes, and negotiating contracts with successful tenderers.
Irene also has experience in drafting complex bespoke contracts and advising on contractual risks, including in relation to warranties, indemnities and limitations of liability.
Irene also advises her clients on a wide range of ongoing contract management issues including novations, variations and terminations, performance management and remedial action.
Irene has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences and a Bachelor of Law (Hons).
Irene is married to Joey and they have two girls. Irene enjoys bike riding, cooking and most of all traveling with her family.
