Procurement and Tendering experience

John’s time in management consulting has been focused on large scale IT and BPO procurement projects across a diverse list of government clients specifically within the health and wellbeing, justice and education sectors.

Over a 3-year period, John led tender management, evaluation, contracting and transition activities for a State Department for major Business Process Outsourcing activities (Call Centre and Field Services) and IT system within a complex legislative environment.

John was engaged to complete the end to end procurement and tendering process for a Victorian health agency required support to deliver on the existing Core Systems program.  The selected Salesforce solution delivered the ability and functionality to deliver stakeholder, grant and project management and to support strict records management practices.

Experience

John Pisani is a strategic sourcing and contract management specialist with over 15 years’ experience in complex Information and Communications Technology (ICT) commercial environments.

John has significant experience and success in leading large scale procurement activities, and a flair for innovative solutions, business acumen and contract management.

John has significant experience in all parts of the ICT procurement lifecycle, specifically within the health and emergency, justice and education sectors of the Victorian Government.

Prior to his management consulting career, John spent over 10 years in senior Information Technology (IT) procurement roles within the Victorian Government.

This experience means John has been in your shoes and can deliver outcomes thanks to his understanding and knowledge of government processes.

John is married to Elizabeth and has a dog called Bongo. He enjoys growing summer vegetables in the garden at home, going for morning walks and the occasional round of golf.
