Experience

Ted is an experienced lawyer with over 25 years’ experience in senior legal roles in the Australian Government and private sector.

Ted has held General Counsel positions in aviation and banking and has a broad range of skills including, administrative law, commercial and procurement and dispute resolution.

Ted has led legal and non-legal teams (Privacy and Freedom of Information) and the company secretariat function in the private sector.

Ted has worked in a number of portfolios including defence, national security and social services as well as at Airservices Australia.

He has also worked for Westpac, HSBC and the National Australia Bank.

Ted has extensive experience in advising senior executives and boards on managing strategic level legal risks.

This has included managing large scale litigation, royal commissions and coronial inquests.

Ted has also provided legal and probity advice on complex and strategic level procurement activities.

Ted assists clients to get the best possible outcomes from their projects by providing pragmatic legal and commercial advice.

Ted has a Bachelor of Science, a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Laws.
