Mariane is an Assistant Advisor at Proximity and is a highly driven and dedicated individual with a passion for helping people.
Mariane has experience in environmental research, report, grant and project writing, team management, and brand representation through her previous experience at the Agrifood Innovation Institute, the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences, and the ANU Women* in STEM Society. Mariane is also a native French speaker.
Mariane is a Tuckwell Scholar at the ANU, studying a Bachelor of Environment and Sustainability and a Bachelor of International Relations, and hopes to complete an honours year.
When she isn’t studying or working, Mariane loves trail running and hiking, curling up with a good book, or anything food related – be it trying a new restaurant or cooking for friends. Mariane is passionate about food and nutrition security, sustainable food systems, and environmental protection.
