Experience

Nashatha is an Advisor at Proximity and has completed a Bachelor of Arts and Law (Honours) at Monash University. Nashatha is known for her hardworking nature and detail-oriented approach to her work.

Nashatha has a wide range of experience ranging from property and conveyancing through to the banking sector. Her attention to detail was highlighted and enhanced in her role as a property lawyer, particularly in drafting contracts and finalising settlements. Nashatha is particularly known for her empathy and clarity in communicating to clients. She honed these skills not only in handling property transactions from start to end, but also during her experience working with wills and estates.

Nashatha also has a strong understanding of the banking sector from her three years of work at NAB, where she developed analytical skills, collaborative skills, and an adaptability to challenging situations. A key skill Nashatha demonstrated in this role was her ability to translate legal jargon in a way that was clear to other members of the organisation. In this role, Nashatha was also able to further grow her skills around managing workflows and work across multiple softwares.

Nashatha was admitted to the Supreme Court in December of 2022.

In her spare time Nashatha has a variety of hobbies ranging from reading, gardening to Pilates.
