Vanessa has 20 years’ management consulting experience, providing strategic advice to Senior Executives in the Australian Public Sector (APS) on how to prepare for and navigate complex workforce and transformation programs and reforms. She is known for her advisory work across Defence, National Security, and human services portfolios, translating strategic intent into practical outcomes.
Vanessa has held senior leadership roles overseeing large consulting teams and client portfolios. As the National Consulting Practice Lead for Proximity, Vanessa focuses on bringing government clients specialist skills and experience across: Evaluation, Assurance and Review, Governance Review and Design, Business Process Improvement, Organisation Design, Change Management, Legislative Support, Program and Project Management and Regulatory Development and Reform. This means she can leverage prior knowledge, experience to provide government-first consulting solutions. She leads with clarity and purpose, translating strategic ambition into aligned team goals while embedding Proximity’s values to foster a high-performance, inclusive culture.
Vanessa specialises in workforce intelligence, redesign and optimisation, business transformation, change management, operating model and organisational design.
